Certified Refurbishing Program

At CKD’s Golf Carts, LLC, we pride ourselves on customer satisfaction. One of the ways we accomplish this is by customizing the highest quality golf cart with the highest quality parts on the market today. Therefore, our Certified Refurbished Process is performed on all of our used golf carts to make them appear and run like new.

The following includes details of the program that our highly-trained technicians perform on each golf cart and repair if not up to standard:

Inspect Frame for Damage or Defects
Inspect Main Wiring Harness Integrity
Connect IQDM Computer to Controller and Check for Faults
Install Speed Setting 4 (where applicable)
Gas powered carts – change oil, and oil and air filters, fuel filter and spark plug.
Inspect Steering Actuator and Tie Rod Ends
Inspect All Body Trim; Including Front Fascia, Side Skirts, Brow, Under Body and Replace or Repaint as Necessary
Electric carts – Install new top-of-the-line Trojan Batteries (unless stated otherwise) and Upgrade Battery Cables from 6 Gauge to 4 Gauge; Apply Battery Coat Spray on Battery Terminals
Inspect Battery Hold Down/Tray
Lube Front Axle with Grease, where Applicable
Refill gear oil in rear differential
Check Front and Rear Bushings (Leaf Spring and Front Suspension
Check Wheel Bearings and Hubs
Check, Adjust, and Clean Brakes
Check and Adjust Front End Alignment
Acid Wash Entire Aluminum Frame or Wire Wheel/Repaint Steel Frame
Install All Aftermarket Parts Selected by Customer
Check and Adjust Aftermarket Tire Pressure
Check All Fittings and Attachments for Proper Tightness
Test Drive and Check All Functions
Perform Final Computer and Controller Diagnostics
